- Procedure Scheduling. When new procedures are scheduled in the information system, IMCO-link communicates this scheduling information to PACS.
- Modality Worklist. IMCO-link supports DICOM modality worklist for automated entry of patient demographics at the modalities.
- Prefetching of Exams. Prior exams for scheduled patients can be automatically prefetched from the image storage system by IMCO-link, to facilitate the review of previous exams with current exams.
- Exam Completion. With IMCO-link, when a patient exam is finished, this exam completion status is communicated to the information system.
- Report Management. When a patient report is dictated, IMCO-link ensures the report is stored in the report repository. When a request is made to view a report, IMCO-link retrieves the report and forwards it to the viewing workstation.
- Image Distribution. A number of information systems support the display of images and IMCO-link is able to respond to image queries from the information system.
- Adherence to Standards. IMCO-link conforms to the DICOM, HL7, IHE and HIPAA industry standards.
