The DICOM communications protocol has been widely adopted throughout the healthcare industry for handling, storing, printing, and trasmitting medical imaging information. The IMCO product line conforms to the Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) standard of the ACR and NEMA organizations.

Health Level Seven Information Standard

The HL7 standard provides a framework for electronic health information to be managed, integrated and exchanged uniformly in the healthcare industry. The IMCO product line utilizes the Health Level Seven (HL7) standard for the communication of information to easily integrate with existing systems that also follow the HL7 protocol.
